Andrianov, Pyotr Nikolaevich

(1916-1979-80?)

P. Andrianov was born in Moscow in 1916.  Since the age of 10 he took art classes from many famous Moscow painters including S. Gerasimov,one of the brightest followers of impressionism and master of social realism.  This painter gave him special romantic and lyrical qualities to his landscape and portrait painting.  He has been exhibiting  since 1935. While at the Youth Exhibition in Tretvakov Gallery his spring landscape attracted attention and was published in a catalog.  In 1937 – 1939 he studied at the Moscow Art College, then at the Surikov Institute graduating in 1948.
