Aristov, Ivan Nikolayevich(b. 1917)
Born in the village of Krasny Yar, Astrakhan’ region. Lives in Serpukhov, Moscow region. Genre: Painter. In 1934-1938 studied at the Art College of Astrakhan’ under S.I. Sakharov and A. M. Tokan. Started exhibiting since 1946. The most important painting “Saving the Red Banner” (1950) is in the Picture Gallery of Per another “Two Childhoods” (1953) is in the Art and History Museum of Serpukhov. Worked as a portrait painter. In 1939-1952 taught art at an art school. Home |
