Yazev, Ivan Andreevich

(b. 1914)

 

Born in the Cossack village of Romanovskaya, Rostov-on-Don region.

Lives in Moscow

Genre-portrait and landscape painter.

In 1931 – 1935 studied at the Art College of Rostov.

In 1935 joined the Rostov Association of Artists and worked on the decoration of the city.

In 1946 he returned to the Institute and continued his education under S.V. Gerassimov.

In 1946 he graduated and joined the Union of Artists of the USSr.

He started exhibiting in 1948.

The works are kept in the Museum of Fine Arts in Rostov-on-Don.
